Pharma Deutschland gründet Landesverband Brüssel – Originaltitel beibehalten

Pharma Deutschland has recently established the Brussels State Association. It serves as a new point of contact within the association for all member companies that consistently or occasionally seek better access to European policy issues. Stefan Koch, CEO of MCM Klosterfrau Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, has been elected as the chairman of the new state association.

Dorothee Brakmann, Managing Director of Pharma Deutschland, emphasizes that the Brussels State Association does not replace systematic monitoring of European pharmaceutical issues by the association and close networking between Pharma Deutschland and European associations: „Given the importance of European politics for the German pharmaceutical industry, it was obvious to provide our companies with a central point of contact for European policy topics and questions. However, the Brussels State Association is not only intended as a service to our members. Through close interaction with them on-site, Pharma Deutschland generates valid information about how EU decisions affect Germany’s pharmaceutical sector. This knowledge makes us an important partner in all European pharmaceutical matters.“

Dr. Stefan Koch, Chairman of the Brussels State Association: „The Brussels State Association offers real added value, especially for pharmaceutical companies that do not have their own presence in Brussels. We invite member companies to inform themselves firsthand about pharma-related topics on-site. With this state association, Pharma Deutschland provides its members with an opportunity to directly shape decision-making at a European level.“
